CORNER OF THE GALAXY: SIGHTS ON THE SHIELD

Your LA Galaxy capped off a wild week with a calm, collected and professional victory over the team trying to chase them down, the Vancouver Whitecaps. Josh and LA Galaxy Insider, Adam Serrano take you through the 2-0 victory as they discuss the good play of Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane and surprisingly for Baggio Husidic and Leonardo.

Post-game audio highlights include Bruce Arena, Marcelo Sarvas, Omar Gonzalez and Landon Donovan.

Then the guys take you through the Western Conference standings, before telling you exactly where the LA Galaxy stand with regards to the Supporters’ Shield and why the upcoming game is so important.

They also clue you into some interesting statistical analysis that shows exactly what kind of driver’s seat the team may be in with regards to the coveted Supporters’ Shield. And don’t forget to try out our very own statistical analysis from our very own Sean Steffen.

Finally, Josh and Adam turn towards the visiting team for the midweek matchup with DC United. It’s the single biggest game in the Galaxy’s 2014 campaign and the implications are wide reaching. This is one of those “games-in-hand” we talk about and a win against DC United could very well determine whether the Galaxy will be playing for a trophy on the final game of the regular season.

It’s a short show full of LA Galaxy info and we’re literally struggling just to keep with all these games… and we love every single minute. Thanks for Listening!
