On this episode of CoG: Short Corner your host Josh Guesman continues his LA Galaxy II discussion, which was started a couple of weeks ago by talking with LA Galaxy II star Chandler Hoffman, by having LA Galaxy II head Coach Curt Onalfo and Galaxy II Winger Bradford Jamieson IV join him.
With Head Coach Curt Onalfo Josh discusses the differences between the MLS reserve league and this USL Pro season. He also talks about the players who made an impact on the field, the rewards of playing well, the mindset that was necessary for successfully running a lower division team that’s main goal is to support the senior side. Curt also tells you the reason for the early success of all the Galaxy’s development teams and what he expects from USL PRO and MLS’ continued development. It’s a comprehensive end-of-year discussion about the LA Galaxy II inaugural season.
Then Josh is joined by LA Galaxy Home Grown player Bradford Jamieson IV (BJ). BJ talks about his whirlwind of a year, his game development, and what he thought LA Galaxy II could offer him. He also talks about going from the stands of LA Galaxy games to the field. He’s an up and coming star that has everyone, even Bruce Arena, waiting to see how he develops. And while I’m sure there’s a ton of pressure for the young player, he seems to be enjoying every minute.
