Dan Gargan is back! After a great first season at right back for Dan Gargan, he has earned a contract extension with the LA Galaxy. #DannyLAG, as he self-proclaimed on his Twitter, is here to stay for the foreseeable future:
Thrilled to continue with a first class organization and all the people associated with the @LAGalaxy for the foreseeable future. #DannyLAG

In an interesting signing back in March, on the last day before the 2014 season started, the LA Galaxy brought Dan Gargan in for a one year deal. Gargan came up big for the club, after injuries to Todd Dunivant and James Riley left him with a starting spot. Gargan took his chance and proved to everyone he is as solid of a right back as there is. Gargan ended the season with 28 appearances and had played a key role throughout the playoffs and as a substitute in the MLS Cup, which saw the Galaxy win their 5th MLS Cup.
Gargan had some fun with the Twitter world on Tuesday, claiming that “major” news was coming out of the LA Galaxy camp. It’s great to see him have a little fun with all this.
Hearing rumors that the @LAGalaxy are making a MAJOR announcement today…

As per MLS policy, the terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed, but from the way it looks Bruce has locked down Dan to the Galaxy for a few years.
