TRIO OF LA GALAXY PLAYERS CALLED UP FOR INTERNATIONAL FIXTURES

Ireland, Guam, and the United States all call-up LA Galaxy players for international games to be played this week and next.

Carson, CA – Forward Robbie Keane, Midfielder Gyasi Zardes, and Defender AJ DeLaGarza have all been called up by their respective national teams for international friendlies.

Robbie Keane has been called up by Ireland to take part in a pair of games. Ireland will take on Switzerland on Friday, march 25th, at Aviva Stadium in Dublin before hosting Slovakia on Tuesday, March 29th (Also in Dublin).

Meanwhile Gyasi Zardes has been included in the US Mens National team for two semifinal round FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches versus Guatemala. The United States will travel to Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City on Friday, March 25th at 7PM Pacific (beIN Sport, NBC Universo). Following that match Zardes and the US team will travel to MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio for the 2nd leg of the tie on Tuesday, March 29th at 4PM Pacific (ESPN2, UniMas and Univision Deportes Network).

Finally, AJ DeLaGarza has been called up to his position on the Guam National Team. Guam is continuing their 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying. They currently sit in 4th place (7 pts) in Group D and will face off against Oman who sits in second place (11 pts). This game will take place on Thursday, March 24th at Boshar-Sultan Taboos Sports Complex in Oman.

All players are expected to be back with the LA Galaxy for their April 2nd MLS away match against Vancouver.
