Today your hosts look back over the first half of the season to point out the strengths and weaknesses of this LA Galaxy team.
CoG Studios, CA – With the first half of the LA Galaxy season over with your hosts, Josh Guesman and LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano want to take a look back over the teams problems and successes. To help them do that they’ll be joined by LA Times Sports writer Kevin Baxter.
The simple question remains – can the LA Galaxy win an MLS cup this year? Josh, Adam, and Kevin will highlight the best and worst parts of this team in 2016.
Was the defense up to par? Did Steven Gerrard do enough? What was the biggest issue with the Galaxy?
In a game that is about scoring goals did the LA Galaxy score enough? Remember they do have a league best +13 goal differential. And have scored more goals than anyone else. But is that enough for the offense to be considered a strength?
Who were the strongest players? Who stood out the most for this team? Was it Brian Rowe? Jelle Van Damme? Nigel De Jong? Or perhaps a younger player like Dave Romney or Daniele Steres.
Together the guys will attempt to predict the future by telling the LA Galaxy what they need to do better in the second half of this season if they’re ultimately going to hold another MLS Cup.
