On today’s show, your hosts answer questions from the listeners and discuss the latest injury setbacks for LA Galaxy players.

CoG Studios, CA – The LA Galaxy are already in injury trouble. Which means your Corner of the Galaxy hosts are already worked up and thinking about “worst case scenarios.” And apparently, you also have some questions. Because this show is filled with your questions and your calls.

First, your hosts, Josh Guesman and Wendy Thomas, will briefly look back at the game played in Las Vegas. What can we learn from this game and what is the one really positive thing to take away from the first two preseason games of the year? It’s something to talk about, if not the ONLY thing to talk about.

So what can you expect from the team this year? Josh and Wendy try and figure out what the Galaxy’s style could be and why this year’s team is a different “beast” than last year’s team. There’s a youth movement, and with that comes a lot of question marks. And will Curt Onalfo follow Bruce’s lead in terms of exciting play? Is that even possible?

Then your hosts will look at the much more serious injuries to Gyasi Zardes and Robbie Rogers. Who will replace them and what does this mean? Do the Galaxy have replacements that are capable of filling in? What was the timeline of these injuries and what does that mean the front office knew before making moves to bolster or thin their roster?

Finally, Josh and Wendy will take your questions and your phone calls en route to 60-minutes of LA Galaxy talk. And where else can you get this much fun and information on the one thing you spend all your money on? That’s right, Corner of the Galaxy is here for you. Consider it group therapy.

About The Author

Producer/Co-Host

I've been covering the LA Galaxy since 2009 and am the Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of all the shows at CoG. I'm also the senior editor for the news side of things. I do this because I love the game. But also because there aren't enough independent news choices when it comes to covering the team. That's my goal - to give you news, and information seen through my lens and to communicate my insight. All thoughts and opinions are my own. And because I'm the boss, it's unlikely I'll fire myself!
