On today’s Short Corner podcast, your host talks exclusively with LA Galaxy Captain, Jelle Van Damme and ESPN Analyst, Taylor Twellman.
CoG Studios, CA – The LA Galaxy are getting ready to take on the defending MLS Cup Champion Seattle Sounders on Sunday at 1 PM (TV: ESPN & ESPN Deportes) at StubHub Center. So we sent, CoG Producer and Host, Josh Guesman to training to catch up with Galaxy Captain, Jelle Van Damme.
Josh will find out what has been keeping the team from capitalizing on some of their better games and what needs to be fixed before they can be victorious on Sunday. They’ll also discuss how important the next three home games will be and whether or not the Galaxy can take any pointers from a Seattle team that had a horrible start to the 2016 season and still came out victorious.
Then Josh will be joined by ESPN Analyst and former MLS Player Taylor Twellman. Taylor will be in the booth for the network when the Galaxy and Sounders face off, so he’s the perfect person to get an outside perspective on this struggling team.
Taylor will point out some of the issues he sees with the Galaxy and perhaps some possible reasons why they just haven’t been able to put together a good game yet.
It’s wonderful analysis from someone who isn’t based in and around the team and I think you’ll find that everyone who is covering the Galaxy is on the same page when it comes to the glaring deficiencies that face this club on the field.
