On today’s show, your hosts tackle the LA Galaxy draw with Chicago and the upcoming road trip that starts with the New York Red Bulls.
CoG Studios, CA – Your hosts, Josh Guesman and Wendy Thomas, are back for another 75-minutes of LA Galaxy talk. And despite it being “do or die” time for the team, we’re kind of excited to be talking soccer with all of you.
Josh and Wendy will start by recapping some of the highlights from the Galaxy’s 2-2 draw with the Chicago Fire. And being it’s all anyone can talk about, they’ll both give you their take on why head coach Curt Onalfo pulled Jelle Van Damme. They’ll also touch on the Jermaine Jones and the why the Galaxy may have been “lucky” to see him off the field. Finally, they’ll both discuss Gyasi Zardes and Brian Rowe and how they think of their overall performance on Saturday.
Next, we’ll jump into the multitude of Galaxy News. Including the official announcement that moved Robbie Rogers to the Season Ending Injury list – finally. Plus we’ll get in-depth about Jone’s Grade 2 MCL sprain and what a realistic timeline for his return is. We’ll also get you updated on why Romain Alessandrini missed training and go over all the disappointing LA Galaxy II results. Who has the bigger rebuilding project? Los Dos.
Then, to help us preview the Galaxy’s trip to visit the New York Red Bulls, we’ll be joined by Seeing Red’s Mark Fishkin (@MarkFishkin). Mark will help us break down this night and day Red Bull team and tell us what we can expect from the weather and the play on the field.
Then Josh is back with another great preview of the game before Wendy helps wrap the entire show up with game predictions and positive things we’d like to see play out in this difficult matchup.
Thanks for joining us, everyone. We’ve been doing record numbers, and it’s because of all of you trust us to deliver you the most accurate and entertaining information about your LA Galaxy.
