On today’s show, your hosts will tell you what they learned about the LA Galaxy in their win over Colorado. Plus they’ll continue the conversation about 2018 and how the club has a lot of work to do with a lot of wrong pieces.
CoG Studios, CA – The LA Galaxy won a game. It wasn’t perfect, but they beat the Colorado Rapids in a game they were supposed to win. On the show today, we’ll give the main lessons we learned from that game and start to look into the future and the offseason of a Galaxy team who’s never had this much pressure on it.
Your hosts, Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter are covering all the bases when it comes to the Galaxy. They’ll give you some keys to why the club was successful over the weekend and why that’s likely to come to a screeching halt on Sunday where the Galaxy will travel to Seattle.
Josh and Kevin will talk about Gyasi Zardes and why he was successful and dangerous on the night as well as what effect the absences of Jonathan and Giovani dos Santos had on the rest of the club. And Romain Alessandrini had himself a night as well. Should the Galaxy be confident going into a tough stretch of games?
The guys will also discuss the timing of Michael Ciani’s signing and what that really means in terms of this season and next season. Is Ciani a piece of the longer-term puzzle? Or is he simply getting a tryout? And how many pieces of the 2017 defense are expected to need replacing going into 2018? They’ll discuss it from every angle.
Finally, the guys are answering your questions and calls. Should players be loaned out? Should Sebastian Lletget shut his recovery down and not worry about the rest of the 2017 season?
We’ve got a great show as Kevin reports from Honduras and Josh holds down the fort at the studio!
