On today’s show, the LA Galaxy make some deep cuts to the roster to reset for 2018. And could a Polish superstar be on his way to Los Angeles? Get Serious!

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy made their first step to rebuilding the roster to what it’s going to look like at the start of preseason in 2018. They declined the options of 13 players and exercised the options of five others. This leaves them with a roster of just 13 players with two others up in the air.

But is all of this a ruse to try and reduce some salary? And which player is most likely to return to the Galaxy after having his options declined?

Hosts Josh Gusman and Kevin Baxter are back after a week of holiday festivities to discuss all the important Galaxy news and also update you on the Miss Universe Pageant and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — this is what happens when you give them both time off!

First, the guys will discuss the players that had their options picked up and give you the players that were already under contract. They’ll dissect the 13 players that are already on the team and why even a roster that is missing 17 players is still bloated at midfield and without several starters.

Then Josh and Kevin will take a look at the likely reasons the team declined the option on Jermaine Jones and ask question surrounding the Galaxy’s academy and what this means in the for the future stars of the Galaxy. Did LAFC gain some ground in the development system by the Galaxy’s dismissal of most of their homegrown talent?

And finally, they’ll look at the rumor of the day that surrounds Robert Lewandowski and his wife. Could they be headed to Los Angeles? Does anyone outside of MLS realize there are two teams in the city again? Will Kevin and Josh spend any time chasing down the rumor?

We’ve got a great show that slides in at just under 60-minutes. And coming off a holiday break, we’re glad to be back talking with every one of you!!!
