Podcast: The Panda of Los Angeles – Extra Medium. The Zlatan Effect

On today’s show, your hosts want to talk about how the LA Galaxy lost that game and still made a lot of progress. Plus, who is the best team in the West?

CoG Studios, CA — The LA Galaxy may have lost to Sporting KC on Sunday evening, but that doesn’t mean all was bad. In fact, we’re here to tell you it’s mostly good!

Your hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter, are back to give you 84-minutes of Galaxy talk! And they’re fired up after a late night at the office. And they prove it by starting with your different spirit animals and why those absolutely do not matter to the rest of the show.

First, the guys will talk about the loss to Sporting and why Josh thinks it wasn’t a bad performance. In fact, Josh will take that step further. But you’ll have to listen to find out how crazy he is. Plus, Kevin will give you his insights into the game and the guys will get deep into why certain player were placed in areas of the lineup and why Galaxy head coach Sigi Schmid was thinking the way he was thinking.

This game was almost more about managing players minutes and getting injured players rest or playing time more than it was about playing Sporting. And that’s just realistic view of what the Galaxy currently are.

Josh and Kevin will also talk about the Western Conference and who deserves to be near the top and why mediocrity seems to be ruling the league.

Finally, the guys will take your questions and ponder the bigger questions in life. Like will Zlatan travel to Chicago? Will Zlatan travel to Texas? And who else gets to fly first-class – that last one isn’t part of the show but now you’ve got us wondering!
