LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The LA Galaxy launched their “Night Navy” second kit on Sunday night at The Novo in front of a couple thousand people. The new secondary kit is a mix of blues in stripes with some added pixelation.

The adidas design has been released to mixed reviews with many people comparing it to other similar stripe designs throughout the league.

However, the party itself was more than successful. With a raucous crowd that was somewhat contained by Fox Sports host Rob Stone and a total unveiling of the 2019 first team — even Giovani dos Santos showed up to a some cheers and some jeers.

Corner of the Galaxy was on the scene to capture the mood of the event and to talk with Galaxy midfielder, Sebastian Lletget about his injury, the event, and whether or not he’ll be back in time for the start of the season.

I've been covering the LA Galaxy since 2009 and am the Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of all the shows at CoG and this one time I was even published in the LA Times! Proud member of the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). I grew up in SoCal and enjoy covering all things Galaxy related. It's where my focus is and where I feel like I can have the most impact on how people get their independent soccer coverage. In fact, that's why I started this site. To give unbiased news, opinion, and entertainment about the Galaxy. No one pays anyone on the site to do this. This is TRULY independent coverage and that's the way I want to keep it.
