Podcast: No Zlatan. No Party. Who will score goals for Galaxy?

With injuries mounting, can the LA Galaxy put together a squad that can generate some offense? Plus, no blackout TV?

COG STUDIOS, Calif. – No Zlatan. No party. But the LA Galaxy will have to figure out a way to create some offense when they face off against Minnesota United on Saturday night with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romain Alessandrini.

On today’s show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Larry Morgan will get you ready for the Minnesota invasion and get you updated on Galaxy news, injuries, and what you can expect from both the Galaxy and Minnesota.

First, the guys will get you through the national team call ups for Jonathan dos Santos and Sebastian Lletget. Including what dos Santos had to say about Tata Martino taking over the Mexican National Team.

Then the guys will get you updated on Lletget’s status for the game on Saturday, as well as the diagnosis for his broken nose. Will he wear the mask? And will it be a Yellow Power Ranger one?

The guys will then work on clearing you through the rest of the injuries including when you can expect both Ibrahimovic and Alessandrini back on the field and what Guillermo Barros Schelotto had to say about starting 21-year-old Uriel Antuna up top in a different formation.

Josh and Larry will also discuss a move away from local broadcast deals for Major League Soccer before centering their discussion on the game this weekend.

No flies were hurt in the recording of this podcast. We can’t say the same about last Thursday’s show, though.

We’re giving you 65-minutes of Galaxy-talk that will get you the ins and outs of a dangerous United team that hits Dignity Health Sports Park with some serious momentum.

Do Josh and Larry know where the goals are going to come from? Will Minnesota be afraid of any of the Galaxy’s options? Or will United simply walk away with three points to start the two-week international break?
