On today’s show, your hosts get you ready for a tough clash with the Union and talk Galaxy coaching controversy, and allocation rankings.

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy are getting ready for a challenging game on Saturday when the Philadelphia Union come into town. The Union are in good form and have been improving every game. And like the Galaxy, have won three in a row coming into the match.

On today’s show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Larry Morgan are back to bring you the big news from the Galaxy and get you ready for this weekend’s match.

First, Josh and Larry will breakdown the somewhat complicated signing of 31-year-old Costa Rican defender Giancarlo Gonzalez and how he was almost a Galaxy player in 2012. They’ll talk salary, allocation rankings, and why the Galaxy did an excellent job in getting Gonzalez for a relatively small sum of money and didn’t overpay for the allocation slot they wanted.

And do the Galaxy even need Gonzalez with Daniel Steres playing so well through the first five games of the season? Are the Galaxy too dependent on foreign players at the moment and would someone want some their talented domestic players?

Then the guys take a look back on what Dennis te Kloese has been able to accomplish in the short amount of time he’s been with the club. How would you rate his accomplishments so far, and why should Chris Klein get credit? We’ll discuss it all.

Josh and Larry will also take a look at some controversy surrounding the firing of an LA Galaxy Academy coach and what his brother had to do with the Galaxy losing out on some top prospects. Is there some villany afoot?

To close out the show, the guys will talk about the Galaxy’s chances against the Union and give you a crazy congested schedule that is upcoming for the club and tell you where the standings currently have the team.

It’s over 70 minutes of talk just waiting for you. Just hit play!
