Podcast: Use Ibrahimovic more. Galaxy depend on his movement

Did the offense lack creativity? Did the LA Galaxy cross too much or not enough? Will they fix it all for Real Salt Lake?

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — It’s another quick turnaround for the LA Galaxy as they look past their 0-0 draw at Minnesota and get ready for another Western Conference showdown with Real Salt Lake.

On today’s show, your host Josh Guesman is ready and willing to talk all aspects of the Galaxy’s draw with Minnesota. But you might not like to hear what he has to say.

See, he believes that the Galaxy didn’t use Zlatan Ibrahimovic enough against Minnesota and that’s why the Galaxy offense looked stifled and lacking in creativity.

Josh will start with all his crazy observations, his ridiculous conclusions and why Jonathan dos Santos, Diego Polenta, and 17-year-old Julian Araujo were the stars of the show.

He’ll also throw in his conclusions about the Galaxy’s defense and whether or not he thinks they’re real or just faking us out.

Next, he’ll talk about the next player who should get a shot at left-back and also how the Galaxy figure into the ridiculously tame suspension Major League Soccer doled out to Kaku for endangering a fan. Shouldn’t fans get more protection than players?

We’ll also throw in some question that you asked via facebook and reddit and Josh will probably call one of you a liar. But he doesn’t mean it… probably!

Finally, Josh will go over the standings, tell you where the Galaxy land, and what playing Real Salt Lake will mean on Sunday. Can the Galaxy continue a six-game unbeaten streak? Can they get back to their winning ways before a May schedule that will see them play four games on the road and two east coast trips? Will the Galaxy get healthy enough to rotate some players?

We’ve got more than 60 minutes of Galaxy-talk on the way!
