Could the LA Galaxy be locked in on an Argentine center back? And what are you looking for from Saturday’s preseason match?
COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy are nearing the start of the season, and a big test will be their first preseason scrimmage that’s open to the public. Will we finally get our first glimpse of Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez playing for the Galaxy when they take on Toronto on Saturday?
Hosts Josh Guesman and Larry Morgan are back in the studio to give you 60-minutes of Galaxy-talk. And with just 16 days remaining before the Galaxy travel to Houston to kick off their season, there’s still a bunch to learn about this team.
Josh and Larry will give you a breakdown of some tough decision Dennis te Kloese will have to make regarding Cristian Pavon. Together, they’ll try and figure out if Pavon is “worth it” to the Galaxy as they negotiate a difficult business decision.
Josh will give you some insight into Chicharito’s Visa saga and what it took to get him ready for Saturday’s preseason match. Plus, Why didn’t Chicharito call us and tell us he had his Visa?
The guys will also talk about the CBA as Perry Kitchen is the first Galaxy player to speak about the negotiations. Larry spoke to Kitchen about whether the players were ready for a work stoppage and whether or not they got a good deal.
Then Larry gives you the latest on injury concerns headed into the weekend before Josh talks about rumors surround Alan Franco and whether or not the Galaxy can land the Argentine center-back.
Finally, Josh and Larry give you what they’re watching for during this weekend’s preseason match and why you can’t look at the score!
It’s a packed show that’s overflowing with Galaxy talk! And we’re glad that you joined us!
