Edson Buddle talks about growing up with a soccer name, and DTK seems to have made up his mind on Pavon!

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — Corner fo the Galaxy is continuing to look back into the LA Galaxy past to bring you some of the most memorable names in soccer. And on today’s show, we’re joined by former Galaxy striker, Edson Buddle!

To start hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter, get you updated on an interesting talk Kevin had with General Manager, Dennis te Kloese. Among the many things te Kloese talked about, the most interesting surrounded a much shorter MLS season, and perhaps an answer on Galaxy midfielder, Cristian Pavon.

Could the Galaxy splash the cash on Pavon? Or will AEG and te Kloese have to be much more cautious during a fascinating summer transfer window?

But te Kloese might also have to contend with losing Galaxy Assistant Coach Dominic Kinnear. Could Kinnear find himself going to FC Cincinnati?

But the main crux of the show is a look back into Galaxy land with Buddle. Now the head coach of the Westchester Flames (USL League Two), Buddle calls in from the epicenter of the coronavirus in the United States, New Rochelle, New York. Buddle talks past Galaxy days, and what he’s looking forward to in his new position as a head coach. Plus, he gives Galaxy fans all the love they need.

It’s a packed show that is just full of excellent Galaxy discussion and insight into an ever-changing league and situation. Won’t you join us?
