COG STUDIOS, Calif. — This show was already filled to the brim with MLS and LA Galaxy news. And then the news dropped, during the show, that Chris Klein would be back with the club for the 2023 season.
On today’s show, hosts Josh Guesman and Sophie Nicolaou get sidetracked in the middle of their usual run down with breaking news from Kevin Baxter and the LA Times that Klein would return after suspension.
So all the talk about AppleTV and what that deal will now entail might seem a little less important when you go back and listen to the show. The conversation about announcers and what MLS teams are required to produce for the League Pass “verticals” might seem trivial. But at the time, we didn’t know we’d be interrupting the show with breaking news.
