PODCAST: Florida Ruins Everything, Small-Group Training, Broach Trading, and a smaller tournament

MLS downsizes the Orlando Tournament as they bank on playing at home stadiums afterward. Does that make sense?

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — MLS seems focused on a shorter Orlando Tournament, and we know the players are getting ready to respond to it. Does that make sense? Would it appease all the big-name stars?

On today’s show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira are bringing you the latest Galaxy-talk. And on this episode, that includes rocket launches, kickball techniques, and a look at middle school Hammer!

The guys will start with the introduction to small-group training and why it’s still no soccer when soccer is expected to be played soon. Can the Galaxy even get this approved? And what good could come of it?

Plus, Major League Soccer seems content with small groups, fewer games, and a shorter time frame for the Orlando tournament. And the date to get to Orlando has shifted as well.

But MLS isn’t doing this because they think the players were right. They’re doing it because they believe the timing lines up for a return to play at home stadiums once the tournament is over. Do they have the right idea?

Finally, we tell you who should be on the remaining four pins the Galaxy will be releasing, and why Josh never enjoyed broach training at Disneyland.

It’s just one of those quarantine shows!
