The LA Galaxy can’t win, didn’t look competitive against Minnesota, and are in danger of falling out of the playoffs. But we’ve fixed them!
COG STUDIOS, Calif. — Can statistics explain away the loss to Minnesota? Can the Galaxy look at that game and feel good about themselves? Of course they can’t. That was a loss. A 3-0 loss and no amount of stat manipulation will get you to feel good about that game. So we probably won’t try that tactic this time. Probably.
On today’s show, hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter discuss the Galaxy’s penchant for losing games in which they allow the opposition to score first. And we think it’s pretty obvious to say we’ve fixed the Galaxy without really trying that hard. Will world peace be next?
Josh and Kevin discuss the loss to Minnesota and why the stats actually do tell the story if you want to read them right. So why did Greg Vanney put many of his starters on the bench for that game? And why does this team need to figure out their level?
Plus, if you could get one player to play at their peak for the next nine games, who has the most significant effect on this team down the stretch?
The guys will also talk about the Galaxy’s schedule, MLS’s scheduled, and why you should be scoreboard watching on Saturday and Sunday night. Yes, it’s that time of the year where you need to see what every game brings in order to try and place the Galaxy into the bigger picture.
