Host Josh Guesman gets you updated on this weekend’s festivities

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy canceled their preseason match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, February 16 after heavy rains throughout the week made the field unplayable.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun this weekend.

CoG creator Josh Guesman is still hosting the very first Corner of the Galaxy Live Event! Taking place at Taps Brewery in Tustin, CoG is planning on talking 90-minutes of Galaxy-talk in anticipation of the start of the season.

And the weather shouldn’t be an issue. If it rains, the show can be moved inside. If it’s nice outside, the show will take place on the patio.

The LA Galaxy will still be sending the Galaxy star squad for the event, and there will be plenty of beer, food, and fun for everyone. It’s an ALL AGES EVENT! So bring the family!

CoG will be raffling off a signed 2018 LA Galaxy kit with proceeds going to the LA Galaxy Foundation. So don’t miss out!

About The Author

I've been covering the LA Galaxy since 2009 and am the Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of all the shows at CoG and this one time I was even published in the LA Times! Proud member of the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). I grew up in SoCal and enjoy covering all things Galaxy related. It's where my focus is and where I feel like I can have the most impact on how people get their independent soccer coverage. In fact, that's why I started this site. To give unbiased news, opinion, and entertainment about the Galaxy. No one pays anyone on the site to do this. This is TRULY independent coverage and that's the way I want to keep it.
