Growing up in Germany, I found a love for soccer while supporting my dad as he played with a local German team in our village. That love grew into a passion when I began to take pictures of the game. Even at 8-years-old, using a camera that required 4 AA batteries and held a maximum of 10 pictures, it made me ecstatic to think that I was capturing amazing images. Years ago, I finished working with an international school in the Netherlands when I realized that I’d never be happy doing anything else. I jumped on a plane and came to California to pursue the passion as a career, and have since worked with many amazing clubs and organizations. My favorite thing about photographing soccer is being able to freeze the various aspects and moments of a match, so that fans and players can remember it forever. Oh, and I’d really love to work at Anfield…one day.
