Corner of the Galaxy: Two Draws Too Many

PODCAST (50 mins) – Two consecutive draws have Josh and Cory second guessing the LA Galaxy’s final place in the league. The guys discuss the 1-1 draw, the Robbie Keane missed penalty kick and so much more.

Does it worry you that the 2nd best team in Major League Soccer can’t beat the 17th and 19th best teams in the league? And what do you do going forward? Has the momentum been stopped?

The boys break down the effects of missing Landon Donovan and Dan Gargan forcing Bruce Arena into a different lineup. Did Bruce do the right thing moving Zardes to the left midfield position? Or should  he have started up top with Keane?

In a game that had two completely different halves, maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise that the end result was far from optimal.

Then the guys talk MLS Commissioner Don Garber’s comments regarding Bruce Arena and the rumored Sasha Kljestan deal. Does Bruce deserve the fine? Is MLS playing right into Bruce’s comments? This is at the heart of Major League Soccer’s public perception issue. What happens behind the scenes?

After talking Standings and Schedule the guys look ahead to the weekend matchup with FC Dallas. Speed is used to describe this Dallas team and the LA Galaxy will need to do well to avoid falling prey to their dangerous counter. Josh and Cory break this game down and tell you what to expect.

Three points are a must for this LA Galaxy team. And if Seattle wanted to stumble, now would be that time.
