CORNER OF THE GALAXY

Producer/Co-Host
I've been covering the LA Galaxy since 2009 and am the Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of all the shows at CoG and this one time I was even published in the LA Times! Proud member of the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). I grew up in SoCal and enjoy covering all things Galaxy related. It's where my focus is and where I feel like I can have the most impact on how people get their independent soccer coverage. In fact, that's why I started this site. To give unbiased news, opinion, and entertainment about the Galaxy. No one pays anyone on the site to do this. This is TRULY independent coverage and that's the way I want to keep it.
Co-Host
Kevin Baxter writes about soccer -- and sometimes hockey -- at the Los Angeles Times. He has covered three Summer Olympics, two Pan American Games, three World Cups, a Super Bowl and six World Series. An essay he wrote in the fifth grade was voted best in the class. He has a cool dog named Chicharita. Louis Van Gaal doesn’t like her either.
Senior Writer / Editor
Larry Morgan is an ex-Clevelander who still avidly follows his hometown teams (Browns, Cavaliers and Indians), but he’s always had an affinity for “the beautiful game.” He started covering the Galaxy when Steve Sampson was head coach.
Co-Host
Eric (aka The Portuguese Hammer) has been following the LA Galaxy #Since96 after attending the first ever home match against the New York/New Jersey MetroStars at the historic Rose Bowl in Pasadena. As a featured Co-Host on the Corner of the Galaxy Thursday live shows, he brings his wealth of knowledge about the club and its history to provide a unique perspective. His hope is to never take himself too seriously and have fun while discussing the best soccer club in the Galaxy. In addition to being part of the Corner of the Galaxy podcast family, he has previously served as a producer and Co-Host for the Guys in Shorts podcast which covers Los Angeles area sports teams, entertainment, and pop culture.

My name is Steve. I like to capture sports with my camera! Please head on over to my website if you want to see more of my work.

Growing up in Germany, I found a love for soccer while supporting my dad as he played with a local German team in our village. That love grew into a passion when I began to take pictures of the game. Even at 8-years-old, using a camera that required 4 AA batteries and held a maximum of 10 pictures, it made me ecstatic to think that I was capturing amazing images. Years ago, I finished working with an international school in the Netherlands when I realized that I'd never be happy doing anything else. I jumped on a plane and came to California to pursue the passion as a career, and have since worked with many amazing clubs and organizations. My favorite thing about photographing soccer is being able to freeze the various aspects and moments of a match, so that fans and players can remember it forever. Oh, and I'd really love to work at Anfield...one day.
Davis is a lifelong fan of the LA Galaxy and started writing with CoG in 2014. He loves to watch soccer from around the globe and pays particular attention to transfers and player acquisitions.
