From the Box: LA Galaxy All-Star “Snubs”

On today’s show your hosts discuss who got left off the All-Star team from the LA Galaxy, and who could be a future All-Star.

CoG Studios, CA – The LA Galaxy only sent one player to the All-Star game in San Jose this year (Correction! They got two. But that happened after we recorded. So for now revel in our genius). There were bound to be some snubs on this years team. But should more Galaxy players have gone?

Josh Guesman and LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano are joined by LAGalaxy.com contributor Larry Morgan to discuss some of those snubs and they guys also get into some of the standout players for this 2016 team.

It’s episode filled with detailed Galaxy talk. Who do you think deserved to go to the All-Star game? Should Brian Rowe have made the cut? Jeff Larentowicz? Jelle Van Damme? Or maybe even Nigel De Jong?

And more importantly who has stood out for the Galaxy this year? Would you give your MVP award to Robbie Keane? Even if he’s missed a lot of games through international absences and injuries? Another guy who was injured and has dealt with suspension, should Ashley Cole have gone? Who’s better in the game at the Left Back position?

It’s a discussion that blends between outright snubs and up and comers. Its an episode that touches on all the things we love about the LA Galaxy and it even takes you on a trip through the chemistry in this locker room.

Plus the guys will tell you why you need to buy your tickets for the LA Galaxy Semi-Final match in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Dallas just did something that may make the Galaxy’s task a little easier.
