Podcast: CoG Records From the Season Ticket Holder Rally

Your favorite LA Galaxy Podcast is recording from the LA Galaxy Season Ticket Holder Rally. Multiple hosts and a special guest are included.

Carson, CA – Corner of the Galaxy loaded up the recording gear and made themselves at home in a suite overlooking the field at StubHub Center for this years’ Season Ticket Holder Rally. The LA Galaxy were nice enough to provide us a room to record in and we got to meet a bunch of our listeners while we took in the sights and sounds of this fun event.

The first big surprise is that Josh Guesman and Jared DuBois reunite for some team talk to start the show. After his work schedule changed, Jared has been an infrequent host, but I think you’ll agree, it feels like he’s never left. We get some great insight from a removed perspective while also getting some top notch Galaxy analysis.

Next, Josh is joined by the Public Address announcer for the Galaxy (and Angels), Michael Araujo. Mike recreates some magic moments from the makeshift studio and also gives you some behind-the-scenes information on how he does his job. And then we make him do one of his famous goal calls. It’s worth the listen.

Finally, Josh and Wendy record for the first time in-person. They talk about the Galaxy’s last game and what the state of the team is as the Rally wraps up. We know there are plenty of strong opinions on what this team could do and Josh and Wendy both agree that what we know about this team is that we don’t know very much.

We want to thank the LA Galaxy for providing us the opportunity to record at StubHub Center. In particular, we’d like to thank Chris Glidden for his hard work in securing us a suite and making sure we had everything we needed to do something different.

In the future, we’re planning on doing some more remote live shows and hopefully, that means you’ll get a chance to join us, on location, very soon.

Thank you to all the listeners who stopped by. We had so much fun meeting and talking with you and we can’t wait for this season to start so we can get you updated on the latest team news, rumors, and analysis.
