Podcast: Would Zlatan Fix Attendance for LA Galaxy? Your Questions Answered!

On today’s show, your hosts give you their quick thoughts on the LA Galaxy’s loss, and they answer your questions about Zlatan, Onalfo, and more!

CoG Studios, CA – We’ve got another action packed show filled with opinions, news updates, and a bunch more. But all of it concerns the LA Galaxy and where they stand going into matchday number three.

Your hosts, CoG’s very own Josh Guesman and LA Times Soccer Writer, Kevin Baxter will walk you through their overall thoughts on the Galaxy’s loss to the Portland Timbers and highlight some of the issues that may have come from that game.

Did Curt Onalfo make some mistakes in this game? Was the starting lineup all that it should’ve been?

There will be injury and suspension updates as the Galaxy once again look to be without some prominent players heading into Real Salt Lake. Will Giovani dos Santos make the trip? How about Gyasi Zardes, or Ashley Cole? Who else could be injured for the Galaxy? Listen to the show and find out.

Then the guys will get to your twitter questions! And boy, do you have a lot. We’ll talk about Zlatan coming to Hollywood and what are some general roadblocks even if he does leave Manchester United. Does Zlatan want to play for Curt Onalfo? Does Zlatan want to play on a Galaxy team pegged to the bottom of the table? What would signing Zlatan mean for attendance?

Plus we’ll also talk about how the youth of the Galaxy, perhaps a point of worry, has suddenly become one of the most exciting things about them. Will that finally result in some goals? And possibly even some wins?

And how important is Saturday’s matchup with Real Salt Lake? The boys will give you the briefest of looks at what the RSL game could mean to a Galaxy team that is already 0-2 at home. That’s not a good. But Saturday could be good.

It’s a fun show that will go by so quickly, you’ll think to yourself, “Self, we should listen again!” And that’s a great idea.

Thanks for listening to Corner of the Galaxy: From the Box. We’re glad that you could join us and we can’t wait to see you again, each and every week.
