On today’s show, your host sat through about 28 interviews with players from across the league to bring you the Dos Santos Brothers first media appearance in 2018!
LOS ANGELES, CA — The LA Galaxy are ready to start preseason. But for the biggest names in Major League Soccer, it wasn’t a day on the field, but rather a day in a hotel doing endless amounts of media. That was the case for the Dos Santos Brothers, Jonathan and Giovani as they were paraded through a maze of different rooms for different pictures, products and appearances before finally ending up in the media room where up to 20 reporters got 15-minutes with each name.
On this podcast, host Josh Guesman braved the nine hours of interviews to bring you some of the first words from Jonathan dos Santos and Giovani dos Santos as they touched on the poor results from last season and how they plan on changing things.
There were several questions about the Mexican National Team and how they’ll play leading up to the FIFA World Cup in Russia. And maybe a bit of insight into their mindsets during those first months.
The guys also touch on the myriad of changes that hit the Galaxy over the offseason and how that might affect the season.
It was a very long day for both Jonathan dos Santos and Giovani dos Santos but they were gracious with their time and they both seem to be excited for the season.
