Podcast: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Lands with the LA Galaxy, Alexi Lalas, and Tool Sheds

On today’s show, your hosts talk about Zlatan Ibrahimovic and how he’ll impact the LA Galaxy. Plus, how injuries will affect the match against Vancouver. Ouch!

CoG Studios, CA — The LA Galaxy look set to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic and that means all hell has broken loose on the show. We threw out the show notes we wrote last night and we’ve decided to cover the breaking news of the day.

Your hosts, Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira are back to give you the complete scoop on the newest Galaxy signing. Together the guys will talk about the reported contract terms and why this makes the deal even better. They’ll also discuss the downsides to signing a personality that big, and also why it doesn’t matter. Because when Zlatan plays, things will be exciting.

But to start things off, the guys will be joined by former Galaxy player and General Manager, and current FOX soccer analyst, Alexi Lalas. And being Lalas was in charge when David Beckham joined the team, he’s got plenty to say about Zlatan and why the Galaxy need to be careful!

Also, the chatroom is busy asking questions and the guys will slip in answers all over the place. They’ll even discuss possible lineups with Zlatan playing and why the Galaxy will probably still have to move some players in order to balance out the roster.

Could Michael Ciani or Joao Pedro see their time with the club come to an end? Well, the Galaxy still need an International spot, so it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see one of those guys be the sacrificial lamb.

Finally, before the entire show is consumed with Zlatan talk, Josh and Eric will also update you on all the injuries the Galaxy are carrying and why the game against the Vancouver Whitecaps is more of a throw-away then a serious competition.

Can the Galaxy still win it? Sure! Miracles have happened and it’s still Major League Soccer. Crazy stuff happens all the time.

This a jammed show full of all the important topics you need to know as a Galaxy fan. And we’re glad that we can be here to help you be the smartest supporter in your row!
