Podcast: Seattle a tough test. Galaxy need playoff points

An extended discussion about the latest LA Galaxy news and how the game against the Seattle Sounders could go a long way to determining how the club approaches their stretch-run.

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy are kicking-off the last five weeks of the regular season with a difficult match in Seattle. It’s a game that could have some pretty serious playoff implications and could have the Galaxy feeling a lot more comfortable if they can scrape three points from the Sounders.

On today’s show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira, discuss all the latest Galaxy news to filter through this week.

Josh and Eric will start by discussing the Galaxy’s five international call-ups and why there shouldn’t necessarily be any panic surrounding those players. But it’s still going to be a busy week, that is just one of many busy weeks ahead. And the Galaxy are going to need all the points they can get in a very competitive Western Conference.

Then the guys will talk about the MLS Cup Playoff schedule, why MLS has crammed all these game together, and why semi-empty stadiums for midweek games during the playoff run isn’t a concern for the league.

And do you want to win a trip to meet Zlatan Ibrahimovic? A ten-dollar donation could be the answer to all your problems and Josh will tell you where you can get info on the drawing and what you could win!

Finally, both Josh and Eric give you some pretty bad dramatic intros for the Sounders match and decide on a battle royale of intros for the next show the Hammer is on. Are you team Pato or team Hammer?

Can the Sounders stop the Galaxy? Does Seattle have an answer for Ibrahimovic?
