PODCAST: LA Find Intensity in Win Over Chivas in Leagues Cup

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy knocked out Chivas de Guadalajara in their Leagues Cup match on Sunday night. And while it wasn’t a perfect game played by LA, they did seem to find that competitive drive that could see them as real contenders in MLS Cup.

On today’s show, hosts Josh Guesman flies solo with Kevin Baxter away in Paris for the Olympics. Josh will discuss the Galaxy’s win, the play of Emiro Garces, Riqui Puig, Gabriel Pec, and Novak Micovic and why the Galaxy can easily call this “mission accomplished.”

But why are the Galaxy headed to Seattle to play a team that finished second in their group? And are the Galaxy missing any major pieces?

Let’s talk!
