COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy are headed to Coachella to really start their preseason ahead of the February 23rd season-opener against San Diego FC.
But one player will need to make sure he gets on a different bus: Dejan Joveljic. Joveljic seemed like he was already out the door but headed to LigaMx’s Tigres. Instead, in a last-minute turnaround, Sporting KC swooped in and made the Galaxy forward a Designated Player.
On today’s show, we’ll talk about what that means for the Galaxy and why $4 million inside the league means more than $5 million outside the league.
