Podcast: Ibrahimovic plays the best villain and hero for LA Galaxy + SKC Preview.

On today’s show, your hosts get you ready for the biggest game of the season. The LA Galaxy take on Sporting KC and the odds, and the club’s record, says it’s not going to be easy!

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The LA Galaxy are coming off back-to-back wins and seem to be actually competing for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference! And that’s after this team seemed dead in the water just three games ago.

But with Dominic Kinnear pushing some of the right buttons and getting a defensive group together that can actually keep teams from scoring, the Galaxy are suddenly one of the most dangerous teams in Major League Soccer — Zlatan Ibrahimovic said so himself!

On today’s show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira are back to get you ready for the BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON (again), as the club travels to take on Sporting KC on Saturday!

The guys will start by giving you some great CoG News about our newest milestone and the coupon code that will get you $5 off our 2018 CoG Scarf (COG20). That offer will extend through the final month of the season.

Then they’ll shift to Ibrahimovic’s future with the club as rumors of a return to AC Milan are once again unearthed. Josh will tell you if you should be worried and what some of those options for Ibrahimovic might look like.

Plus, Josh and Eric will talk about the attitude that Ibrahimovic has brought to the club and why he’s both the greatest villain and the greatest hero for the league. And quite honestly, MLS doesn’t deserve him. Should he be considered for league MVP? It’s a question that is being asked.

Then the guys talk MLS Cup Playoff scenarios and what the Galaxy could do just by not losing this weekend. That will, of course, lead us to a discussion about Sporting KC and the Galaxy’s awful record when they hit the road against them.

It’s an uphill battle for the Galaxy, but all they need to do is win! 60-plus minutes of Galaxy-talk is headed your way! Thanks for the support.
