Podcast: Live from DHSP – Rain, Hail, Wind, and a Galaxy Podcast

Our listeners braved the weather to catch a weather-shortened live podcast from Dignity Health Sports Park

COG STUDIOS, Calif. — The clouds moved in. The rain started. The thunder and lightning surrounded us. The hail hit the pavement around us. The weather delays delayed us — multiple times. And yet, you still showed up for us!

On this very special – but short- episode of Corner of the Galaxy, your hosts Josh Guesman, Eric Viera, and Kevin Baxter (Larry Morgan and Sophie Nicholoau were there too, but we ran out of time to get them on) talk about some of the new signings on the Homegrown front, and about the new U-22 rule that is set to hit the league in 2021.

And with the first half of the double-header canceled after the third or fourth lightning delay, the guys cram in some good talking points before the rapidly approaching kick-off.

Josh, Eric, and Kevin also answer some of your questions and talk about the players with the biggest things to prove this season. Will Chicharito be the leader the Galaxy need? Will Cristian Pavon carry the Galaxy on his back? And can Jonathan dos Santos answer the bell for the second season in a row?

We want to thank everyone who came out and talked to us. We want to thank those that braved the weather. And with close to 200 of you, we can promise that we’ll do it again!

Thanks for coming to our show! Your continued support humbles us!

A special thanks to the LA Galaxy for hosting us and to Chris Glidden, who coordinated our setup, and kept us up to date, minute by minute, with the changing weather and start times.
